A trick-taking game where winning and losing are two sides of the same coin.
About Face is a trick-taking game for 2–4 players where strategy and misdirection go hand in hand. Players navigate a map, competing to win tricks at certain locations, then strategically losing at the same spots. The twist: knowing when to take control and when to cede it is the key to victory.
In traditional trick-taking games, winning is everything. About Face flips this on its head by making both winning and losing valuable depending on where on the board they occur. Players move their tokens around a shared map, and the interplay between their position and the tricks they win creates a novel puzzle that rewards clever timing and reading your opponents.
The game combines familiar trick-taking mechanics with spatial puzzle elements, creating a fresh take on a classic genre. With quick rounds and high replay value, About Face offers engaging play that's easy to teach but has depth for experienced players.
